The deal, plainly

Sport Signal is operated by Sportscasters Pty Ltd (ABN 25 694 080 816), based in Australia. By using the app you agree to these terms.
The short version
Barrack hard, argue about the umpiring, rate the call however you like. Don't abuse people. We have zero tolerance for abusive users and objectionable content, and we act on reports within 24 hours.
Community rules
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You agree not to post, send or upload anything that is:
- abusive, harassing, bullying or threatening
- hateful or discriminatory, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, age, sexuality or gender identity
- sexually explicit, or any material that sexualises a child in any way
- violent, or encouraging violence or self-harm
- defamatory about a commentator, player, official, coach or anyone else. Criticise the call, don't invent facts about the person
- illegal, or promoting illegal activity
- spam, scams, or someone else's private information
- impersonating another person
You also agree not to harass or abuse other users, in public rooms or in crews.
Reporting and enforcement
Every message and every person can be reported from inside the app, and you can block anyone at any time. We review reported content and act within 24 hours, removing content and ejecting the people who posted it. We use automated filtering and AI-assisted moderation, with escalation to a human. We may remove content, suspend or delete any account that breaks these rules, at our discretion and without notice. Serious matters, including child safety, are referred to the relevant authority.
Your account
You must be at least 13 to use Sport Signal. Keep your account to yourself, you're responsible for what happens on it. Don't share it, and don't create a new account to get around a suspension. You can delete your account at any time from the You tab, and we'll remove your profile and content from the live app.
What you post
What you post stays yours. You give us permission to store and display it inside Sport Signal so the product works: showing your message in a room, your tip on a leaderboard, your rating on a commentator profile. Nothing more. You're responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.
What we provide
Sport Signal is provided as-is. We work hard to keep scores, fixtures and match data accurate, but it comes from third-party providers and can be delayed or wrong, so never rely on it for anything that matters. Signal·AI is an analytical model read, shown for interest, and is never betting advice. Tipping and predictions are free and for bragging rights only: there is no wagering, no prize pool and no balance.
Other people's content
Views posted by other users are theirs, not ours. Club names, crests and broadcaster marks belong to their owners and are used to identify the teams and broadcasts being discussed.
Ads and sponsors
Sport Signal is free, and some of what you see is paid for by sponsors and partners. Sponsored placements are marked. We measure whether an ad was actually on screen; we don't track you across other apps or websites, and we don't sell your data. See the Privacy policy for the detail.
Ending things
You can stop using Sport Signal and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if we have to stop running the service.
Liability
Nothing here limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond those rights, and to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Sport Signal.
Changes
We'll update these terms as Sport Signal grows and will revise the date at the top. If the changes are significant we'll ask you to agree again in the app.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
